What We Value
Quality Craftsmanship - Designed and handcrafted in Toronto, we have spent more than a decade cultivating trusted relationships with local and international suppliers and tradespeople, whose high standards of practice align with our own, ensuring each piece is crafted with precision and care.
Intrinsic beauty of gemstones - Each one meticulously chosen to showcase its unique colour and characteristics. Our designs achieve balance through the use of gemstones that are sometimes so unusual they hold one’s gaze a little longer, inviting deeper appreciation.
Old world romance, modern design - Rooted in the timeless romance of history, Yuliya's collections are enriched with historical inspiration, particularly evident in the intricate detailing of the prongs and settings that cradle each uniquely chosen gemstone.

Meet The Designer
Yuliya Chorna, an award winning jewellery designer, goldsmith, and the owner of YCJ has always been driven by her innate creativity. Growing up in western Ukraine, Yuliya's upbringing instilled in her a profound appreciation for handmade artistry and a deep connection to her cultural roots. Jewellery became more than an expression of beauty; it became a vessel for storytelling, a tangible expression of love and celebration.

Yuliya's journey into the world of jewellery design formally began over 13 years ago, with her pursuit of an extensive three-year Jewellery Arts program in Toronto, where she graduated with honours.

Employing age-old goldsmithing techniques such as wax carving, lost wax casting, and fabrication, Yuliya breathes life into her creations, infusing them with character and integrity. Her work can be found in San Francisco and stores across Canada.
